Born in Morocco, Walid Rhannou is a visionary entrepreneur and industry leader with over 15 years of experience in bulk materials and heavy industries. He began his career in 2006 as a project manufacturing engineer. Throughout his journey, he held prominent roles such as capital investment manager, lead buyer, change leader, CFO, and CEO at companies like ArcelorMittal and Ciments De L'Afrique.
With an MBA from The University of Chicago and a Masters in Industrial Engineering from INSA Lyon, his passion for logistics and supply chain management became evident. In 2016, Walid founded CulturA, known for excellence in the cement industry supply chain, boasting 100% yearly growth. In 2022, he launched Blink, a comprehensive digital solution transforming bulk cargo trading and management, offering end-to-end supply chain services. Walid's career is a testament to his unwavering dedication to reshaping the industry landscape.
